Real-time transcription that keeps up

Messybox listens to your meetings in real time — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, you name it. Every word, every speaker, every tangent about someone's cat. All captured.

Speaker identification means you'll know exactly who said what. No more "I think it was either Dave or Sarah who volunteered to handle that." It was Dave. Messybox has receipts.

The transcription handles accents, cross-talk, and that one person who always forgets to unmute. 95% accuracy means you can trust the transcript without listening to the recording (which we both know you were never going to do anyway).

The TL;DR you actually need

A 60-minute meeting doesn't need a 60-minute recap. Messybox distills everything down to the stuff that matters: key decisions, discussion points, open questions, and next steps.

Summaries are structured and scannable. You get bullet points, not paragraphs. Headlines, not essays. The kind of notes you wish you'd taken but never actually do.

Share summaries with attendees (or people who skipped the meeting — no judgment) with a single click. Everyone stays aligned without anyone having to say "can you send me the notes?"

Action items that don't vanish

You know the drill: someone says "I'll handle that" in a meeting, and it immediately evaporates into the void. Not anymore.

Messybox listens for commitments, assigns, and deadlines — then auto-creates tasks. "Sarah will send the proposal by Friday" becomes a tracked action item assigned to Sarah, due Friday. Boom.

Action items sync with your favorite task tools (Asana, Trello, Notion, Jira — the gang's all here). So the thing someone promised to do in a meeting actually shows up where they'll see it.

Calendar-aware. Context-ready.

Messybox syncs with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. It knows what meetings are coming up, who's attending, and what was discussed in the last one.

Before your next meeting, you get a pre-meeting brief: previous action items, unresolved topics, relevant email threads, and a quick recap of where things left off. Walk in prepared without doing any prep.

After the meeting, summaries and action items are automatically linked to the calendar event. Every meeting becomes a searchable, organized record. No more "when did we talk about that?"

Meetings, but make them useful

Skip unnecessary meetings

Can't make the standup? Read the 30-second summary instead. Messybox makes "I'll catch up on the notes" actually true for once.

Never miss an action item

Every commitment gets captured, assigned, and tracked. No more "wait, was I supposed to do that?" moments. The answer is yes, and Messybox already added it to your list.

Searchable meeting history

Need to find that decision from three months ago? Search by keyword, participant, date, or topic. Your entire meeting history becomes a knowledge base, not a black hole.

Meeting summary FAQs

Which meeting platforms are supported?

Messybox works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams out of the box. Webex and other platforms are on the roadmap. If your team uses carrier pigeons, we're still working on that one.

Do participants know Messybox is recording?

Yes — transparency matters. Messybox joins as a visible participant (named "Messybox Notetaker") so everyone knows notes are being taken. You can also configure a notification message that's sent at the start of each meeting.

How long are transcripts and summaries stored?

On Pro plans, transcripts are stored for 90 days. Team and Enterprise plans get unlimited retention with custom data policies. You can also export transcripts anytime as PDF, DOCX, or plain text.

Can I edit the summary or action items?

Absolutely. Summaries and action items are fully editable after generation. Add context, reassign tasks, adjust deadlines — it's your meeting, we just take the notes.
