Because nobody should spend half their workday sorting messages.
Messybox started with a frustration shared by every knowledge worker on the planet: email is broken. Not the technology — the experience. We were spending hours every day reading, sorting, replying, and following up on messages, and it felt like the least productive part of our work.
We asked a simple question: what if AI could handle the tedious parts of email — the sorting, the routine replies, the follow-up tracking — so humans could focus on the messages that actually matter? What if your inbox could organize itself?
That question became Messybox. We're a small, focused team of engineers, designers, and email nerds building AI that understands how you communicate. Not a generic chatbot pasted onto an inbox — a purpose-built system that learns your priorities, mirrors your writing style, and respects your time.
We're just getting started, and we're building in public. Every feature we ship is shaped by real feedback from real users who are tired of drowning in email. If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you along for the ride.
The principles that guide everything we build.
Your email is your most personal data. We process it in real time and never store it, never train on it, and never sell it. Trust is non-negotiable.
AI should assist, not replace. Every draft is reviewed before sending. Every sort can be corrected. You stay in control — always.
We'd rather do four things exceptionally well than twenty things poorly. Every feature we ship has to earn its place by saving you real time.
A small crew with big ambitions. We're hiring — see open roles.
